Nathan Higgs & Western Skies Landscaping is one of the most professional companies we have ever worked with. Right from the start Nathan was polite and willing to come out and talk to us in a very timely manner. Once our consultation appointment was set, Nathan courteously called to confirm the day before to ensure all was in place and that the scheduled time still worked for us. On the day of the appointment Nathan was there on time and was willing to thoroughly listen to our thoughts of what we wanted our backyard to look like once complete. He was able to tell us what would work and what was not feasibly possible but offered alternatives that would allow for the same end result.
When it was time for Nathan to deliver the quote, again he called to confirm the appointment and was on time. The quote was very extensive and detailed as it outlined each step of the project with the cost and action associated with it and a timetable for when the work was to be complete. We felt as though he tailored the quote to meet the needs of the project. In no way did we feel the prices were inflated or unjustified.
The people employed by Western Skies Landscaping are just as professional as Nathan. They were always at the job on time and were very courteous to not only us but also our neighbors. They kept the front of the house looking neat and were always putting away the tools and materials they did not need as to not clutter their working area. At the end of the day they also made sure that all items were properly stored in the trailer and left no messes for us to have live in.
Once the job was complete, Nathan completed a walk through with his employees to ensure all items were complete per the quote and that nothing was left undone. He then did a walk through with us to make sure we were happy with the end results. He also educated us on how to best maintain the grass, plants & shrubs and flagstone so that it would look new forever.
In short, we are very pleased to endorse the work of Nathan Higgs & Western Skies Landscaping and would refer his work to anyone that would ask.

We are writing this letter on behalf of Nathan Higgs and Western Skies Landscaping. We have known Nathan and used his company for our construction and landscaping needs for the past two years. We first contacted Nathan when we were referred to him by the Trex Deck website as a Trex Pro Installer. Nathan was very easy to talk and had a no pressure approach to his business. We felt he was the best qualified and most professional of all that had provided us with a quote.
From the time we first spoke on the phone until the completion of our Trex deck, Nathan and his Western Skies employees displayed the utmost professionalism. They delivered the finished deck on time and priced as quoted. They made sure all of our questions were answered and we were 100% satisfied with the end product.
After enjoying our deck for a while we decided we wanted to enhance it’s beauty with a flagstone patio and walkway. There was no other choice but to go through Nathan and Western Skies Landscaping. We knew they would deliver the quality of product we expected at a great price and with no hassles. As with our deck, the flagstone work turned out better than expected. Our backyard has become a popular entertaining area and we continue to get compliments on how beautiful it is.
This summer we decided it was time to add some greenery to the already beautiful back yard. We contacted Nathan and he came out immediately to discuss what we wanted and to prepare a quote for the work. Again, there was no question but to go with him for this work. Nathan and his employees added shrubs, an arbor and replaced mulch.
Our backyard is now complete and the paradise we always wanted. Nathan and his company helped us create an environment that is inviting and warm and a place we find ourselves when the weather allows.
